Bittersweet...
Where has the time gone? I keep asking myself that question. My boys are two today! It seems like they just arrived to us only yesterday.
After thinking, praying, thinking, praying, crying, rejoicing, and everything in between, and as much as I love having my children's boutique downtown, seeing all the people who come in the store and the friends I have made along the way, I have decided that my place is at home with my children. This is a decision that I have not made in haste. It has been on my mind for a while. As funny as it may sound, this decision actually makes me happy and sad all at the same time.Although, our doors at Little Bittles Boutique & Monogramming will close downtown, we are not going anywhere - we'll be exclusively online. We have maintained a website for the past few years and we will continue to update and grow our products and services. We will continue monogramming just as we do now. It may be a little less convenient from the local standpoint; however, that is something I am working on and I will update you here on the Blog.
Believe it or not, I am actually looking forward to experiencing more of those moments like the gum spill in the pantry, and many, many more moments that are brought on by the terrible 2s. We have already had some hysterical instances, but we just happened to capture the gum spill on camera. I think we began those at about 18 months. At this time in my life, I feel my priority should be spending more time being a "Mommy" but still doing what I love. I have decided I can have both with a little time management. Please feel free to e-mail me anytime at littlebittles.com with your questions, comments or whatever is on your mind and be sure to look for a continuation of a "Makeover" to our website. We will continue to be making positive changes and blogging about different things you may find of interest.
Our last days at the boutique downtown will be Saturday, April 11, 2009, and then on April 17th & 18th and again on April 24th and 25th. We will have a big cleaning out and childrens sale with lots of great priced items that will be new and gently used. I thought I would take advantage of this opportunity and sell a lot of the boys things they have outgrown - toys that need to go to make room for the new birthday toys and anything under-the-sun that I no longer need or have room for at the store or at home.
Thank you to all our loyal customers and PLEASE do not go anywhere because we do not plan to go away!
Sincerely,
Amanda Bittle
